Job summary

VAJRA ENGINEERING SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent operations professional to plan and supervise vehicle servicing and related processes in Singapore.

You will ensure adherence to policies, regulate compliance with LTA standards, and coordinate with multiple departments to maintain smooth business operations. The role requires shifting and re-positioning buses, supporting Find My Bus, and maintaining cleanliness standards on par with Singapore’s LTA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling work activities considering resources and deadlines.
• Monitoring activities to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicating issues to management regarding problems with vehicles or processes that may affect productivity.
• Assisting in developing new methods to improve efficiency or reduce costs.
• Analyzing data to identify problems or trends that may require corrective action.
• Conducting feasibility studies to determine whether new products or services are commercially viable.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operation of business processes and projects.
• Maintaining records of operational activities such as sales, inventory levels, staffing levels, or shipping activity.
• Developing operational budgets based on projected sales volume or costs such as labor and material costs.
• Shifting of buses for activities such as Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance or Bus Washing/ Cleaning, and Re-positioning of buses in the correct sequence for areas with block parking to ensure despatching process is not affected, including the support of “Find My Bus” system.
• Ensure we must hit above 98.5% Cleanliness level during MAR Audit by LTA
• Ensure all Buses are washed and wiped so that they are in line with cleanliness standards that is expected by Singapore's Transportation Authority (LTA)
