Responsibilities
  • Source and obtain quotations from shipping agencies prior to appointment.
  • Review, compare, and negotiate agency rates to ensure competitiveness.
  • Monitor tanker movements and coordinate closely with appointed agents.
  • Arrange pilots for Singapore inward clearance, berthing, unberthing, and outward passage.
  • Provide updates and monitor the vessel’s operational status.
  • Prepare instructions for vessels regarding loading and discharging operations.
  • Report tanker operation status to charterers in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with customers on billing and payment matters.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Maritime Studies or equivalent with over 5 years of experience in chartering, ship operations, and post-fixture management with shipowners, charterers, or shipbrokers.
  • Well-versed in the commercial aspects of ship operations and management.
  • Possesses practical sailing experience.
