Job summary

MORGAN MCKINLEY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Operations Associate to support accounting, payments processing and investment-administration activities for a family office.

The role is hands-on and requires detailed accounting work and end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks. The successful candidate will liaise with banks and external providers, perform data entry in QuickBooks, assist with monthly/quarterly reporting, and monitor cash flows and budgets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant accounting or family-office operations experience.
• Experience with accounting data entry and bank reconciliations.
• Basic understanding of investment products (equities, fixed income, hedge funds).

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting data entry and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
• Process vendor and other payments with proper approvals.
• Support asset consolidation, cash flows, and expense monitoring.
• Assist monthly and quarterly financial and operational reporting.
• Monitor expenses against budgets and support cash-flow forecasting.
• Conduct bank, custodian and general-ledger reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding items.
• Maintain investment records across asset classes.
• Liaise with banks, custodians, auditors and service providers.
• Organise supporting documents and confidential information securely.
• Provide general accounting, operational and admin support.
• Perform other duties as required.
