Job summary

MICHAEL PAGE (PERSONNEL) PTE. LTD. is recruiting for an entry‑level role in Global Markets Operations to support the end-to-end trade lifecycle for cash equities, assist with client onboarding, and handle post‑trade activities.

You will act as a focal point for internal stakeholders, work with sales, trading, technology and compliance, and contribute to automation and process improvements while gaining structured training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• Open to fresh graduates with internship experience in banking operations, financial services operations, securities services, or trade support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated interest in capital markets, equities trading, or investment banking operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with automation or process improvement concepts would be advantageous.
• Strong team player with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end trade lifecycle for cash equities transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Assist with client onboarding, account maintenance, and post-trade support activities.

• Perform trade allocation, matching, exception management, and settlement support to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Monitor and execute critical risk and control activities, maintaining data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with sales, trading, technology, compliance, and operations teams to resolve issues and enhance operational efficiency.
• Contribute to automation, workflow enhancement, and process improvement initiatives to improve scalability and client experience.
