Who We Are
We are a growing Singapore-based SME specializing in consumer electronics manufacturing, operating as an Approved Vendor List supplier to Tier-1 global technology brands. Our international production network is anchored in China and actively extending into India
We are looking for a process-oriented Operations Accountant (Supply Chain Specialist) who will sit at the intersection of finance and supply chain management. You will be a vital partner to our procurement and logistics teams, and work with on-the-ground finance teams in China and India.
Working in a lean team, you will serve as the architect of our logistics data flows, bridging
our regional supply chain operations and multi-national buyer portals with our outsourced corporate bookkeeping partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Ownership: Act as the primary internal manager for our outsourced bookkeeping firm, ensuring all supply chain invoices, freight expenses, and inventory adjustments are accurately piped into Xero. Experience with Xero-compatible supply chain / inventory management add-ons (such as Cin 7 Core or other similar add-ons) to automate manual tracking is preferred.
- Tier-1 Buyer Account Reconciliation: Manage and perform monthly statement reconciliations directly with our designated MNC buyers and global fulfillment portals. Audit high-volume portal data against our internal shipments, track self-billing invoices or portal receipts, and proactively resolve any billing, quantity, or pricing mismatches to ensure seamless payment processing.
- Price Variance Tracking: Analyze Purchase Price Variances (PPV) by systematically comparing actual vendor invoices against baseline standard costs.
- Inventory Control: Monitor international inventory-in-transit balances, ensuring seamless reconciliation between our operational trackers and the financial general ledger.
- Regional Finance Liaison: Coordinate regularly with our local accountants and vendors in China and India to reconcile statements of accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Logistics/Supply Chain Management with a strong financial background.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in operational finance, logistics accounting, or cost tracking within a trading and manufacturing environment - ideally within the consumer electronics or hardware component sector. Direct exposure to high-volume MNC electronics supplier portals is highly advantageous.
- Systems: Strong, hands-on exposure to Xero or similar cloud-accounting systems. Experience exploring, implementing, or working with Xero-connected inventory/supply chain ecosystems is highly advantageous.
- Core Expertise: Deep understanding of shipping incoterms, international freight structures, and customs duty allocation.
- Languages: Professional fluency in English and business proficiency in Mandarin is required to review regional financial and logistics documents and communicate effectively with our local teams and partners.
- Attributes: A process-oriented self-starter who thrives on organizing data, creating workflows, and building systems to manage high-volume transactional data without losing accuracy.
What We Offer
- Central office location with a collaborative, flat organizational culture.
- Direct visibility to business owners and a measurable impact on company growth.
- Gain hands-on regional experience with opportunities to step up into supply chain controller position as our footprint expands.
