Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage daily purchasing for indirect goods, services and CAPEX, ensuring alignment with policy and approvals.

You will coordinate PR-to-PO processing, source suppliers, negotiate pricing and lead times, and maintain procurement records in SAP or similar systems. Strong collaboration with Finance and internal stakeholders is essential. This role requires attention to compliance and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma or Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in purchasing, procurement or supplier management.
• Familiarity with the end-to-end purchasing process, including PR-to-PO processing and supplier sourcing.
• Experience with SAP ERP; SAP Ariba knowledge will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities for indirect goods, services and CAPEX requirements.
• Review and process PRs and POs in accordance with procurement policies and approval procedures.
• Conduct supplier sourcing, competitive bidding and RFx exercises to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and follow up on orders.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information and procurement data in SAP or other systems.
• Coordinate with Finance and Accounts Payable to resolve purchasing, invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier-related issues, including non-conformance and delays.
• Support contract administration, supplier negotiations and procurement process improvements.
• Promote e-procurement platforms and approved channels to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls and documentation requirements.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information and procurement data in SAP or other procurement systems.

Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier-related issues, including non-conformance, returns and delivery delays.
