A logistics services provider in Singapore is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficiency and compliance. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating workflows, and liaising with logistics service providers. Ideal candidates should have supervisory experience in logistics and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. This position requires a meticulous and responsible work attitude, with the ability to handle confidential information. Candidates must also be bilingual in English and Mandarin.
5.5 days work week
Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm
This role will rotate across multiple warehouse sites and will not be stationed at a single location.

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and operational activities to ensure efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company procedures. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating workflows, optimising processes, and working closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee day-to-day operational activities and warehouse planning to ensure timely and accurate execution of shipments
Monitor workflow processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvements
Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Customer Service, Finance, Compliance, and Commercial teams to support business needs
Liaise with logistics service providers and ensure daily weighing scale checks and test weights are conducted before operations
Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping of warehouse facilities, equipment, and resources
Perform regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity
Attend and support internal and external audits
Supervise, motivate, and guide the operations team to achieve operational excellence and high employee engagement
Monitor delivery performance of logistics service providers
Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time
Minimum Diploma qualification
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the logistics or warehouse industry
Willing to work in Tuas and rotate across multiple warehouse locations
Able to work overtime when required (eligible for Off-in-Lieu)
Meticulous, responsible, and positive work attitude
Mature, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision
Able to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts)
Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Knowledge of freight forwarding and/or shipping experience will be an added advantage
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Effective negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
Strong leadership and team management skills
Supervise 2 operations staff
