The role requires handling different religious and cultural practices, coordinating rotations including weekends/holidays, and providing compassionate support to bereaved families. Prior funerary or hospitality experience is valued.

Qualifikationen

• 1–5 years’ experience at a funeral parlour or in the funerary industry
• Industry knowledge of religious, cultural, burial practices
• Independent self-starter with strong problem solving and organising skills
• Conversant with basic computer software
• MUST be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Funeral industry / Facilities Management or Hospitality experience encouraged to apply
• Experience with Columbarium niches is an advantage

Aufgaben

• Ensure Columbarium halls are cleaned and well maintained
• Maintain proper records in accordance to regulatory requirements
• Be familiar with funeral services of various religious and cultural norms
• Provide assistance to families of the bereaved
• Ensure parlours are cleaned in a timely manner for efficient turnaround
• Ensure equipment in the parlours is operational and well maintained
• Oversee and maintain the building facility
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

We are currently looking for Full-Time OPERATION OFFICER / EXECUTIVE / MANAGER (COLUMBARIUM & PARLOUR) to join our team.

The Role:

The role is to ensure that Columbarium or Parlour are well maintained and all arrangements are in place. In addition, he/she has to manage all events and reservations of the prayer services.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Columbarium halls are cleaned and well maintained
• Ensure Maintenance of all proper records in accordance to regulatory requirements
• Be familiar with all aspects of funeral services of various religious and cultural norms
• Provide all assistance where necessary to the families of the bereaved
• Ensure all parlours are cleaned in a timely manner for efficient turnaround
• Ensure all equipment in the parlours are operational and well maintained
• Overview and Maintenance of building facility
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Skills & Experience:

• 1 - 5 years’ experience at a funeral parlour or in the funerary industry
