Job summary

Lenovo in Singapore is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to manage AWS cloud services and Windows Server environments. You will design, deploy, and operate hybrid cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability and security.

The role requires 2+ years hands-on AWS and Windows administration, scripting (PowerShell or Python), and solid ITIL practices; familiarity with Terraform and CloudFormation is a plus. Singapore-based applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on AWS cloud services and Windows Server administration.
• Proficient in Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
• Experience with AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch.

Description and Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in AWS cloud services and Wintel administration
• Proficient in managing Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments
• Working knowledge of AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch
• Experience in scripting (PowerShell, AWS CLI, or Python is a plus)
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, patch management, and infrastructure monitoring

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or similar certification
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud integrations (e.g., on‑prem AD with AWS)
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
• Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins) is a plus

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and documentation skills
