Job description

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures and ensure that relevant nursing and clinical documentation is completed accurately and promptly.

• Perform Scrub Nurse and Anaesthetic Unit (AU) Nurse responsibilities in accordance with established clinical procedures, protocols and standards.

• Coordinate with relevant departments and healthcare teams to facilitate the safe and seamless transfer and transport of patients.

• Escort, receive and orientate patients during transfers while ensuring their safety, comfort and privacy.

• Provide appropriate post-operative recovery care and monitor patients in accordance with established nursing protocols.

• Participate in the review and continuous improvement of nursing protocols, policies and procedures.

• Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned by management.
