Job summary

EXASOFT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced platform engineer to manage OpenShift and Kubernetes for enterprise apps in Singapore.

You will provision clusters, upgrade nodes, manage namespaces, and provision PV/PVCs while ensuring uptime and security across environments. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Azure DevOps, automate with Ansible/Terraform, and monitor systems with Elasticsearch and Kibana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience administering Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience in cluster provisioning, upgrades, worker node management, namespace creation, and PV/PVC provisioning.
• Experience in Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, including OS patching, maintenance, and security updates.
• Experience supporting containerized application deployments, including workloads, services, routes, and application configuration.
• Troubleshooting OpenShift/Kubernetes issues involving pods, nodes, networking, storage, and cluster services.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible, Bash scripting, and Terraform.
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and platform engineering concepts.
• Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring using Elasticsearch, Kibana, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience in high availability, infrastructure resilience, and production support.
• Hands-on experience in DevSecOps practices, vulnerability scanning, and enterprise security standards.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support deployments, incident resolution, and platform lifecycle activities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes environments for enterprise applications.
• Manage OpenShift cluster provisioning, upgrades, worker nodes, namespaces, and PV/PVC provisioning.
• Support containerized deployments by configuring workloads, services, routes, and settings.
• Monitor cluster health and troubleshoot pods, nodes, networking, and platform services.
• Perform Linux/RHEL administration including patching, maintenance, and security updates.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts with Ansible, Bash, and Terraform.
• Support CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance using Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Support production deployments, platform upgrades, and infrastructure changes with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams for onboarding and platform lifecycle needs.
