Job summary

NOVACLOUD SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to administer and optimize OpenShift and Kubernetes environments across enterprise applications in Singapore.

You will lead cluster provisioning, upgrades, PV/PVC provisioning, CI/CD automation with Jenkins and Azure DevOps, and IaC with Ansible, Terraform, and Bash scripts, ensuring high availability, security, and smooth production deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience administering OCP and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with cluster provisioning, upgrades, and PV/PVC provisioning.
• Linux/RHEL administration experience with patching and security updates.
• Experience deploying containerized applications and configuring workloads.
• Proficient in CI/CD using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on with IaC using Ansible, Bash, and Terraform.
• Monitoring with Elasticsearch/Kibana and platform troubleshooting.
• DevSecOps practices, vulnerability scanning, and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain OCP and Kubernetes environments for enterprise apps.
• Manage OpenShift cluster provisioning, upgrades, worker nodes, namespaces, and PVs.
• Support containerized deployments by configuring workloads, routes, and settings.
• Monitor cluster health and troubleshoot pods, nodes, networking, and storage.
• Perform Linux/RHEL administration including patching and security updates.
• Develop automation scripts with Ansible, Bash, and Terraform.
• Support CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Monitor performance with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Support production deployments, platform upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for onboarding and platform improvements.
