Job summary

NOVACLOUD SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned OpenShift administrator to manage enterprise OCP environments, perform RHEL administration, and maintain platform health across dev and prod.

You will implement GitOps workflows, automate with Ansible, and support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins in a security-conscious, highly automated setting. Candidate should have 4+ years in OpenShift administration, strong Linux skills, and experience with observability tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on OpenShift/OCP administration.
• Strong experience with RHEL administration and Linux infrastructure.
• Hands-on Kubernetes/container platform administration experience.
• OpenShift cluster setup, configuration, upgrades, node management, troubleshooting and day-to-day operations.
• Experience with OpenShift GitOps/ArgoCD and GitOps-based deployment practices.
• Hands-on Ansible automation, including playbook development and configuration management.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins or similar tools.
• Experience in RBAC/IAM, identity integration, networking, firewall configuration, and platform security.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and Alertmanager.
• Experience in OpenShift Virtualization, Nexus Repository, Dynatrace, Tanzu and Postman.
• Performance testing framework experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise OpenShift environments including cluster configuration and platform maintenance.
• Manage OpenShift workloads, namespaces, resources, and cluster health across environments.
• Perform RHEL administration, server provisioning, upgrades, and hardening.
• Support Kubernetes and container platforms for deployments and operations.
• Implement OpenShift GitOps/ArgoCD workflows for automated deployments.
• Develop Ansible automation for infrastructure configuration and compliance tasks.
• Manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable build/test/deploy workflows.
• Configure RBAC/IAM and integrate with enterprise identity systems.
• Support OpenShift networking, firewall configurations, and platform troubleshooting.
• Administer Red Hat Satellite for patching and lifecycle management.
• Monitor health with Grafana/Loki/Prometheus/Alertmanager and investigate issues.
• Support OpenShift Virtualization, Nexus Repository, and related tooling.
• Contribute to platform testing including UAT, API testing, and performance testing.
• Maintain operational documentation and platform support processes.
• Follow security, patching, and hardening standards across OpenShift and Linux.
