Job summary

JIB Specialist Consultants is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) for on-site supervision of civil engineering projects in Singapore. The role requires coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

You will inspecting workmanship, materials, and site records, attend site meetings, and report any non-conformance to the Qualified Person.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
Registered with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO).
Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience (viaduct structures, MRT projects or road works).
Able to work independently and stationed full-time on site (EAST).

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor site works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
Ensure construction works comply with BCA regulations, codes of practice, and project quality standards
Inspect workmanship and materials used on site
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site personnel on technical matters
Attend site meetings and prepare inspection records and reports
Identify and report non-conformance, site issues, and deviations to the Qualified Person
Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained
