Job summary

ROCKWELL AUTOMATION ASIA PACIFIC BUSINESS CENTER PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and capacity.

You will monitor progress, adjust plans, and coordinate with MPS, procurement, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and about 2 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management, with proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 2 years' experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain management is preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, and capacity constraints.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans to address changes in demand, material shortages, or operational disruptions.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manufacturing resources and equipment.
• Coordinate production priorities with MPS.
• Analyze material requirements and ensure timely availability of components and raw materials.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Work closely with procurement and suppliers to expedite critical materials.
• Review and manage MRP outputs.
• Manage production orders from release through completion.
• Monitor customer order status and ensure on-time delivery commitments.
• Communicate order risks and recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Support demand fulfillment and backlog management activities.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and production departments.
• Resolve material constraints and production bottlenecks.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes.
• Coordinate inventory movements and material allocation.
• Analyze and understand production performance, inventory trends, and delivery metrics.
• Drive initiatives to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Recommend improvements to planning systems, processes, and reporting tools.
