is seeking a hands-on on-site technician to install, cabling, and maintain servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and related equipment at data centers and customer sites across Singapore. You will support remote teams, ensure accurate documentation, and provide Remote Hands services such as rebooting equipment and checking ports, with regular site inspections and detailed status reporting.

Qualifications

• Background in computer science, information technology, networking, or related fields.
• Experience with on-site data center support and resident machine-room activity.
• Hands-on racking/un-racking of servers, switches, routers, and gear.

Responsibilities

• Rack and un-rack servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and other equipment for deployment or maintenance.
• Install and connect network devices, ensuring proper physical and network connections.
• Perform structured cabling tasks including connecting, dressing, labeling, and link testing Ethernet cables and patch cords.
• Provide Remote Hands support—rebooting equipment and checking ports under remote guidance.
• Assist with on-site deployment of servers, GPU servers, and network equipment, including checks.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and environment at data centers and POP sites.
• Support remote teams with basic troubleshooting and report on-site status with photos.
• Deliver on-site technical support to customers across Singapore, Malaysia, and regions as required.
• Maintain and update records of equipment, cabling, ports, and on-site details.
• Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin with stakeholders and remote teams.
• Travel frequently between Singapore and Malaysia to provide on-site support.
• Demonstrate responsibility, attention to detail, and strong teamwork.
