Job summary

Coherent Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a diligent Manufacturing Associate to support all production operations on site. You will participate in setup, calibration, rework, quality testing, and data collection to enable on-line adjustments.

Qualifications

• A Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience working in a cleanroom and following safety procedures.
• Hands-on experience with sub-assemblies and soldering.
• Ability to manage chemical solutions during cleaning processes.
• Flexible to work shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in all manufacturing operations including setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing.
• Use software to collect and analyze operating data for on-line adjustments.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with engineers to conduct experiments and implement process improvements.
• Participate in abnormality detection to resolve production issues promptly.
• Drive improvements in yield, scrap reduction, and OBQ performance.
• Contribute Kaizen ideas and engage in Small Group Activities.
• Participate in 6S to maintain a clean and efficient workplace.
