Job summary

WELEAD SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a skilled engineer to provide support in manufacturing test processes. Responsibilities include communication with operators, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality objectives improvement.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the field, with a capacity to work in shifts. This role is essential to enhance production efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Production Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years of working experience preferred, with 5 years in Manufacturing Test.
• Ability to commit to 3 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with production operators and support groups.
• Maintain and control equipment spare parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty production equipment.
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing equipment and test processes.
• Meet departmental cost and quality objectives.
• Improve and upgrade production equipment hardware and control software.
• Install and qualify new test processes and equipment.
• Identify and rectify process problems for quality improvement.
• Support new program/model start-up and CR process.
