Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX company, seeks a hands-on engineer to perform assembly, disassembly, and inspection of engines and modules onsite in Singapore. You will follow SOPs, troubleshoot issues, and support team leaders to meet production targets, with SAP responsibilities and a commitment to EH&S compliance.

The role requires a NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 2 years of relevant experience, and a willingness to work day/night shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Min 2 years of relevant experience in engine or module assembly, disassembly, inspection or testing.
• Good understanding of technical drawing and manuals.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and hands-on in approach.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with a growth mindset.
• Willing to work rotating shifts (Day & Night) and commit to overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, equipment, and tools to assemble, disassemble, and inspect engines, modules, components, and accessories.
• Interpret and follow SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance with technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during daily operations to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Support the Assistant Foremen and Cell Leaders in achieving production targets.
• Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying work orders.
• Participate in EH&S programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
