Job summary

RTX, Pratt & Whitney, Singapore, invites skilled technicians to join our engine testing and assembly team. You will rig, test and derig engines, disassemble modules, and ensure compliance with SOPs in a fast-paced production cell.

The role requires a NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years in engine testing or assembly, a hands-on approach, and willingness to work rotating day/night shifts with overtime as needed. We offer training, benefits, and career development.

• 2 years of relevant engine testing/assembly experience
• Good understanding of technical drawings and manuals
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and hands-on

• Willing to work rotating day and night shifts with overtime when required

Responsibilities

• Perform rig, test and derig of engine in a test cell environment.
• Operate machinery, equipment, and tools to perform assembly, disassembly, and inspection of engines, modules, components, and accessories.
• Interpret and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during daily operations to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Support the Assistant Foremen and Cell Leaders in achieving production targets and meeting operational targets.
• Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying work orders as required.
• Actively participate in EH&S programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain high standards of ethics and compliance.
