Job summary

RTX in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer Technician to support engine and module assembly activities, inspections and SAP service-order updates. The role requires a NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, with a willingness to work Day/Night shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Min 2 years of relevant experience in engine or module assembly, disassembly, inspection or testing.
• Good understanding of technical drawing and manuals.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and hands-on in approach.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with a growth mindset.
• Willing to work rotating shifts (Day & Night) and commit to overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the engine and aircraft components per engine manuals and raise traveler for repairable components.
• Follow up on Engineering Inquiry, Defect Reports and Tasklogs for full paperwork closures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during daily operations to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Support the Supervisors in achieving production targets and meeting operational targets.
• Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying service orders as required.
• Actively participate in EH&S programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain high standards of ethics and compliance.
