Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced onboarding leader to drive end-to-end onboarding for Private Bank clients in Singapore. You will ensure timely, risk-proportionate outcomes while guiding front-to-back teams on KYC and risk requirements.

The role emphasizes process optimisation, change management and building a high-performing team, with a strong focus on governance and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end onboarding for private banking clients.
• Ability to plan workloads and prioritise aging and complex cases.
• Knowledge of KYC requirements, risk assessments and approval expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding delivery for Private Bank clients, covering new-to-bank and existing-to-bank opening accounts.
• Own onboarding SLA performance through workload planning and addressing bottlenecks.
• Provide guidance to client-facing teams on KYC, risk assessments and approvals.
• Assess onboarding impacts of change initiatives and provide practical input to policy/process changes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and standards in onboarding.
• Oversee onboarding risk assessments and coordinate responses to audits/regulatory queries.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing onboarding team with ownership of outcomes.
• Promote knowledge sharing across teams to support front-to-back delivery.
