Job summary

CLSA Limited in Singapore seeks an Associate/AD in Institutional Equities for Client Onboarding. You will manage the end-to-end onboarding process across APAC, coordinating with Front Office, Compliance, AML, Operations and other stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant onboarding.

The role requires strong KYC expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for liaising with Chinese stakeholders, and familiarity with AML regulations (HK SFC, SG

Qualifications

Experience in KYC and client onboarding in financial services.
Strong understanding of corporate structures and constitutional documents.
Knowledge of AML regulations (HK SFC, SG MAS).
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong time management and stakeholder relationships.
Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end client onboarding for APAC clients across Institutional Equities.
Partner with Front Office, Compliance, AML, Operations, FATCA, and other stakeholders to ensure timely onboarding.
Gather, review, and validate constitutional and supporting documentation, coordinating with external clients and internal teams.
Conduct KYC and customer due diligence reviews to assess and monitor client risk profiles.
Perform client identification, verification, and screening checks per AML policies.
Perform independent review of KYC due diligence completed by Makers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
