Job summary

NCS is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and OutSystems, with preference for ServiceNow integrations. This on-site role embeds with client teams on government-related projects in Singapore, offering exposure to full software development lifecycle and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of Java development experience, strong English communication, and the ability to integrate low-code solutions

Qualifications

Diploma/degree in CS, CE, IT or equivalent.
1–4 years in application software development using Java or fresh graduate
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Able to integrate low-code solutions with enterprise systems.
On-site Singapore-based with client collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modules using Java and OutSystems or equivalent technologies.
Integrate OutSystems low-code solutions with enterprise systems and data flows.
Translate requirements into technical designs and specs.
Collaborate with analysts, developers, testers and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Support testing activities including SIT and UAT, and resolve issues.
