Job summary

UNITED ELITE CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a MOM-registered WSHO and NEA-registered ECO to lead site safety, health and environmental compliance on our active construction projects. You will work with the project team to keep sites audit-ready and compliant with the WSH Act and EPMA.

You will administer SHMS, conduct internal audits to ISO 45001/14001, investigate incidents, train workers, and liaise with authorities to ensure timely reporting and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
• NEA-registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO).
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' WSH experience on building construction projects.
• Sound knowledge of the WSH Act, EPMA and related regulations and industry best practice.
• Strong communication skills to engage site teams and subcontractors on safety matters.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess foreseeable risks and recommend control measures.
• Maintain SHMS and prepare for third-party safety audits.
• Conduct internal EHS audits and inspections per ISO 45001/14001.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and advise corrective actions.
• Carry out ECO duties including vector control, noise, dust and waste reporting to NEA.
