Job summary

RMR INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, improve production efficiency, and ensure products are manufactured safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

You will plan, organize, and manage production, develop schedules, monitor performance, lead supervisors and engineers, ensure safety and quality, coordinate with procurement, warehouse, maintenance, engineering and sales,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor production performance and optimize productivity, quality, and cost.
• Lead and supervise production supervisors, engineers, and factory staff.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, maintenance, engineering, and sales departments.
• Manage production budgets, material usage, and inventory control.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare production reports, KPIs, and management updates.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained to minimize downtime.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate employees to improve operational performance.
