Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a customer-facing Technical Support Engineer to join our Singapore team. You will deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters at client sites, ensuring smooth production operations with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes experience, cloud-native infrastructure knowledge, and the ability to work on-site at customer premises while coordinating with internal teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on Kubernetes administration or cloud-native infra experience.
• Experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters independently.
• Experience performing cluster upgrades and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters at customer environments.
• Perform cluster upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve Kubernetes control plane and node issues.
• Troubleshoot Pods, Nodes, networking, storage, and ingress issues.
• Deliver on-site support, workshops, and POCs for customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to meet customer needs.
