Job summary

Xcellink Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an IT Support Engineer to join the IT infrastructure team. You will learn to manage mission-critical biometrics devices and ensure high availability by troubleshooting faults and performing routine health checks.

You will support project teams with PC/workstation setup, software installation, and on-site user support. Role requires hands-on Windows experience, willingness to rotate shifts, and collaboration within a security‑sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Having prior exposure to IT operational environments is advantageous.
• A strong team player with the ability to collaborate and willingness to support one another.
• Communicates well and has good interpersonal skills.
• Independent and has ownership of assigned tasks.
• Certification in Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma, ideally with a focus in IT.
• Interest in IT Service Management
• Willing to work on rotations (Day shift: 10 am–10 pm / Night Shift: 10 pm–10 am)

Responsibilities

• Support the project teams in the implementation, installation and configuration of PCs/Workstations OS, applications and related peripheral devices.
• Provide 1st level on-site IT support to the end-users.
• Provide findings and timely status update to the Project Manager on major issues escalated by users.
• Perform daily health check and inventory check on system.
• Experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting of PC / peripheral devices and application maintenance support.
• Hands-on experience in supporting end-users in a Windows environment.
