Job summary

Kian Bee Engineering seeks an HSE professional to guide compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and security at the worksite, coordinating with project teams and construction personnel.

You will establish and review project-specific Safety Management System, develop risk assessments and safe work procedures, and liaise with authorities to ensure adherence to all statutory requirements and client expectations. This role requires active safety leadership and documentation stewardship on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in health, safety and environment (HSE) within construction projects preferred.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements and client expectations relevant to HSE.

Responsibilities

• Understand and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and client expectations.
• Establish and review the project-specific Safety Management System.
• Develop, review, and maintain risk assessments and safe work procedures for contractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with authorities on WSH-related matters and ensure documentation is submission-ready.
• Lead and participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns to promote HSE culture.
• Assist in investigations and reporting of accidents/incidents and recommend preventive measures.
