Job summary

Kuan Aik Hong Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a Workplace Safety Manager to lead the SHMS on-site, drive regulatory compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture across projects.

The role requires a WSHO license, strong risk management skills, and at least five years' local construction experience, including experience with HDB BTO projects. You will liaise with project teams and the EHS Committee to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Must possess WSHO license and familiarity with safety audits.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the local Building and Construction industry.
• Completion of a full cycle of HDB BTO project is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the establishment and maintenance of SHMS on-site.
• Implement and uphold project and corporate SHMS protocols.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace and process-related risks.
• Propose and enforce safe work procedures.
• Enhance workplace safety performance through strategic measures.
• Ensure adherence to EHS policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with MOM and NEA statutory requirements.
• Contribute to the corporate EHS Committee.
• Conduct in-house safety training sessions.
• Develop and execute EHS plans, trainings, meetings, and promotional activities.
• Conduct routine inspections to address hazards.
• Enforce EHS/OSH regulations on-site.
• Serve as secretary for the WSH Committee; preside in chairman's absence.
• Investigate accidents or non-compliance incidents and report to stakeholders.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
