Recruit Express Group is seeking a Safety & Compliance Officer to lead all on-site safety at major events in Singapore. You will enforce WSH standards, coordinate with crews, promoters and clients, and translate complex safety rules into actionable guidance.

Ideal candidates possess MOM registration, WSQ WSH Level B+ or higher, and hands-on experience in construction or heavy industry safety. The role demands strong communication, discipline, and physical stamina in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold MOM Registered Safety Officer certification.
• WSQ Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health Level B+ or higher.
• Experience in Construction Safety or Heavy Industry safety preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication to explain safety concepts clearly.
• Firm but fair mindset for enforcing discipline in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in venues such as stadiums and arenas.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety during load-ins, set-ups and tear-downs.
• Brief and align internal crews, promoters and clients on safety requirements.
• Enforce housekeeping, clear work areas, and real-time hazard mitigation.
• Manage No-Fly Zones and restricted areas during rigging and high work.
• Develop and implement safety systems and SOPs for events.
• Review risk assessments and method statements for every project.
