Job summary

A premier data center company in Singapore is looking for an experienced Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure. The role involves hardware installations, structured cabling, and troubleshooting. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of data center experience, strong cabling skills, and professional communication ability. Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Own transportation and ability to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.

Skills

Data center experience

Cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a)

Server hardware knowledge (Dell, HP, Supermicro)

Professional communication skills

Education

Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS or similar)
