Job summary

HG Group in Singapore is seeking a full-time, on-site Carpenter to measure, cut and assemble wood and other materials for structural frameworks, fixtures and fittings.

You will read technical drawings, install doors, windows and cabinetry, use hand and power tools, keep a clean, safe work area, and collaborate with other trades to meet project timelines. Formal trade training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and measurements accurately.
• Proficiency in carpentry techniques, including framing, installation of doors and windows, fitting cabinetry, and finishing work.
• Skilled in the safe use and maintenance of carpentry tools and equipment.
• Strong awareness of workplace safety practices and adherence to local building regulations.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Effective communication and ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and other trades on-site.
• Previous experience as a Carpenter; formal trade certification or relevant vocational training is an advantage.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks independently while meeting deadlines.
