DAZ CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled carpenter to read drawings and work with timber and plywood on Singapore construction sites.

You will measure, cut, shape, assemble and install components according to specifications. You will construct, erect and dismantle formwork for concrete, install partitions, door and window frames, flooring and other wooden components. You must operate hand and power tools safely, follow safety rules and keep the site tidy while reporting any defects or

Ability to read construction drawings and interpret specifications.
Accurate measurement, cutting, shaping and assembling timber components.
Operate hand and power carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
Work with timber, plywood and related building materials on site.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
Take measurements, cut, shape, assemble and install timber, plywood and related building materials.
Construct, erect and dismantle timber formwork for concrete works.
Install partitions, door frames, window frames, flooring and other wooden building components.
Carry out repair and maintenance works for wooden structures and fittings.
Operate hand tools and power carpentry tools in safe manner.
Follow workplace safety & health regulations, wear required PPE.
Keep work site tidy, report material defects and safety issues to supervisor.
Perform other carpentry-related duties assigned by site supervisor.
