Our client, a Singapore-based manufacturer of sand control screens and downhole equipment, seeks an experienced engineer to plan, coordinate and support the assembly and testing of completion equipment. You will review drawings and specifications, ensure traceability, and lead improvements in safety, quality and productivity through Lean and 5S.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in mechanical assembly/testing in oil & gas or related manufacturing; location is Tuas (West) with day hours and

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, manufacturing, mechatronics or related engineering.
• Experience with pressure and functional testing, and reading engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of BOMs and API/ISO requirements is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate and provide engineering support for assembly and testing of completion equipment.
• Review drawings, BOMs, specs and API/ISO requirements; prepare test plans and checklists.
• Oversee cleaning, layout, assembly, pressure and functional testing, and final verification.
• Verify traceability of components, serial and heat numbers before assembly.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and NCR resolution for defects.
• Maintain test reports, pressure charts and traceability forms.
• Coach technicians; support NPI, first-article assembly and inspections.
• Drive safety, quality and productivity using Lean and 5S.
