OIL BROKERAGE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LIMITED seeks a broker with about 3 years of experience in physical and/or swaps brokering to manage front office activities, maintain forward curves, and contribute to revenue growth across the desk.

The role requires strong numerical skills, Bloomberg/Eikon/Platts familiarity, and the ability to work across Asian/European market hours, with a hybrid work setup between home and office.

Qualifikationen

• About 3 years of working experience in physical and/or swaps brokering.
• Strong understanding of physical oil trading operations, refining processes and transactions.
• Able to grow a strong clientele base.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a quality Forward Curves for the desk, update values.
• Be a key contributor to the revenue for the desk.
• Business development - contact potential clients to develop new business prospects.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Drive market research for the desk and feed reports for stakeholders.
• Develop a training module and conduct training for juniors and stakeholders.
• Guide and train juniors on the desk for growth within the team.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain a quality Forward Curves for the desk /team you are aligned to (light-ends/middle distillates/Fuel/FFA); update and mark values.
• Be a key contributor to the revenue for the desk
• Business Development - make contact with potential clients to develop new business prospects
• Maintain relationships with existing clients
• Drive market research for the desk and feed into the reports for the internal and external stakeholders
• Develop a training module and conduct training for Juniors in the team as well as other internal stakeholders on a periodical basis.
• Guide and train juniors on the desk, be responsible for their growth within the team

Applicant pre-requisites:

• About 3 years of working experience in physical and/or swaps brokering, as relevant
• Strong understanding of all aspects of physical oil trading business - operations, refining processes and transactions.
• A strong and active clientele base
• Strong hold on basic numerical skills
• Swift and accurate
• Driven, able to motivate juniors and is a team player.
• Familiar with Bloomberg /Eikon Terminal/Platts
• Able to work across Asian/European market hours.
• Effortless movement between wfh and office setup
• Thrives in cross-cultural work environment.
