Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an Operations Readiness Lead to support offshore Oil & Gas engineering projects. The role focuses on leading OR activities through project phases, developing readiness strategies, and guiding commissioning and start-up to safe operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in OR/commissioning, experience on international projects, and strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills. Fluent English is required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years in operational readiness, commissioning, start-up, or production operations in oil & gas.
• Experience on international upstream, offshore, LNG, refinery, or energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of commissioning and start-up methodologies and operational transition planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead OR activities across project phases for commissioning and start-up.
• Develop production readiness strategies and transition plans.
• Define resources, prerequisites, and risk mitigation measures.
• Prepare CSU deliverables and ensure client contractual compliance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet readiness milestones.
• Monitor progress and report through management reviews.
• Interface with project teams, clients, and operations stakeholders on readiness and commissioning.
• Facilitate workshops, risk assessments, and readiness reviews.
• Provide guidance to teams involved in OR, commissioning, and start-up.
• Support site-based commissioning and start-up, ensuring safe transition to operations.
• Identify operational and commissioning risks and implement mitigations.
