Job summary
DNV SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an engineer with a strong academic record in naval architecture or offshore structures to join the Floaters and Marine Operations advisory team in Singapore.
You will contribute to strength and fatigue analyses, stability and hydrodynamics, and support transportation/installation methods for offshore systems. With mentoring from senior engineers, you will develop skills in static/dynamic analysis, fatigue, and nonlinear analysis, while building programming
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in naval architecture or offshore engineering
- Strong engineering fundamentals and good basic skills
- Team player with positive attitude and cross-team collaboration
- Proactive and self-motivated with client-facing potential
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience with tender/proposal preparation
- Excellent communication to specialists and non-specialists
- Safety-focused mindset for offshore operations
- Interest in chartership or professional development
- Strong data interpretation and modeling skills
Responsibilities
- Participation in strength and fatigue assessment of floating structures
- Delivery of single work packages and small projects
- Direct communication with clients worldwide
- Prepare accurate technical reports and support tenders
- Attend meetings and deliver presentations
- Collaborate with team and other engineering disciplines
