Job summary

ONE SEVEN CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering leader to oversee offshore, marine and industrial projects in Singapore.

You will plan deliverables, manage vendors, liaise with clients and authorities, and drive design reviews, safety and commissioning activities. A degree in electrical engineering and 15+ years of experience are required, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant engineering experience.
• At least 5 years in lead engineering or management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power generation and distribution.
• Experience with offshore/marine construction and commissioning.
• Familiar with international standards and regulatory rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead E&I engineering activities for offshore, marine and industrial projects.
• Plan and review deliverables including calculations, specs, drawings, datasheets and reports.
• Manage vendor packages and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, equipment suppliers and authorities for project delivery.
• Ensure designs comply with international standards, classification rules and statutory requirements.
• Lead design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, SIL assessments, commissioning and testing.
• Support tendering and cost estimates, and engineering man-hour assessments.
• Manage resources, schedules, budgets and technical risks to meet objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and partners.
• Review electrical studies including power distribution, load flow, short-circuit and cable sizing.
