Seatrium in Singapore is seeking an Estimating Support professional to assist in preparing cost estimates for offshore engineering projects. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure that estimates align with project scopes and timelines.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant discipline and has 1–3 years of experience in a marine or offshore environment. This role demands effective communication and organizational skills, and you will be responsible for conducting market research, estimating costs, and preparing documentation for bids and submissions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in cost estimating, quantity surveying, or project support in a marine and/or offshore environment.
• Familiarity with ship repair, offshore platform fabrication, or rig repair processes is preferred.
• Basic ability to read technical drawings and project specifications.
• Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates for offshore engineering projects.
• Support the development of work breakdown structures and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with various teams to gather necessary inputs for estimating.
• Conduct market research for material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Ensure cost estimates align with commercial expectations, contractual terms, and client specifications.
• Collaborate closely with estimating and commercial teams.
