1100 Micron SemiAsiaOP Pte Ltd is seeking a Process/Equipment Senior Engineer to lead efforts in developing best-known methods in chemical mechanical planarization (CMP). The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of relevant experience in CMP process or equipment roles. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently.

As a Process/Equipment Senior Engineer on the Operation Central Team (OCT) CPEE HVM group, you will lead and collaborate with multi‑functional teams to develop best‑known‑methods (BKMs) and drive continuous improvements in chemical mechanical planarization (CMP). You will interface with high‑volume manufacturing sites, technology development, global procurement, suppliers, and other OCT departments to align technology, deliver solutions that meet cost, scale, quality and yield goals, and advance Micron’s global business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Engage high‑volume manufacturing (HVM) and technology development (TD) teams to lead worldwide alignment efforts and improve process effectiveness.
• Promote the sharing and transfer of BKMs and area‑specific domain knowledge across the organization.
• Provide technical and hands‑on support to HVM sites for safety, productivity, cost of ownership, process efficiency, quality defense, and yield improvement initiatives.
• Partner with suppliers to develop process and equipment roadmaps that align with Micron’s technology roadmap.
• Prioritize and lead multiple projects based on fab and corporate objectives.
• Communicate and respond to issues in a timely manner, with a cadence appropriate to the priority of the issue.
• Keep collaborators and team members informed of project status, progress and roadblocks/opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a CMP Process/Equipment Senior Engineer.
• Strong people and collaboration skills to lead globally diverse sites on BKM alignments.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable and able to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
