Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to assess residents and deliver rehabilitation-focused interventions. You will supervise Therapy Assistants and volunteers, and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Registered occupational therapist with relevant clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and provide interventions to meet residents' rehabilitation needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary reviews and contribute OT recommendations to care planning.
• Guide and supervise Therapy Assistants and volunteers in therapy-related activities.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation teams to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
• Maintain current professional knowledge and apply evidence-based OT practices.
• Contribute to development and improvement of OT services.
• Support training of therapy aides, volunteers and caregivers.
• Provide clinical supervision to OT and Therapy Assistant students.
• Conduct or contribute to education sessions for nursing staff.
• Participate in research, clinical development and service improvement initiatives.
• Provide operational support and service coverage within the Allied Health Team as required.
• Maintain workload statistics and incident reports and report to leads.
• Provide feedback to the performance development of Therapy Assistants and Therapy Associates.
• Participate in departmental and organisation-wide quality improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and implement solutions.
• Undertake other duties assigned by the Senior Therapist or Head of Allied Health.
