in Singapore is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide assessment, intervention and treatment to nursing home residents, and to collaborate with the rehabilitation and multidisciplinary care teams. You will supervise Therapy Assistants and volunteers, contribute to care plans, participate in training and knowledge-sharing for staff, and support service improvements within the Allied Health Team.

Formación

• Keep up to date with developments, evidence-based practices and advances in occupational therapy, and contribute to the continuous development of the department.
• Support and participate in training and competency development for therapy aides, therapy associates, volunteers and caregivers.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to occupational therapy students and Therapy Assistant students during their clinical placements.
• Contribute to in-service education and knowledge-sharing for nursing staff on topics related to occupational therapy and rehabilitation.
• Participate in relevant clinical, service and research projects undertaken by the organisation or department.

Responsabilidades

• Provide appropriate and effective occupational therapy assessment, intervention and treatment to residents in the nursing home.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient review meetings and contribute relevant occupational therapy input to residents' care plans.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Therapy Assistants (TAs) and volunteers involved in occupational therapy-related activities.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with members of the rehabilitation and multidisciplinary care teams.
