Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct caregiver training and education.
• Prescribe appropriate aids or assistive devices.
• Conduct home assessment and modification.
• Participate in quality improvement and research projects.
• Train therapists and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the client's physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and occupational needs to design appropriate intervention plans
• Conduct caregiver training and education
• Prescribe appropriate aids or assistive devices
• Conduct home assessment and modification as necessary
• Participate in quality improvement, research and collaborative projects
• Conduct training for therapists, support staff and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and service standards

Requirements

• AHPC Registration
• At least 1 - 2 years of Occupational Therapist work experience
• Passion to work in Day Rehabilitation Centre / Nursing Home settings
