Qualifications

  • Minimum degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full registration or eligible for AHPC registration.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for community care and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' functional, cognitive, psychosocial, and physical abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans.
  • Provide interventions to improve ADLs, IADLs, mobility, cognition, and community participation.
  • Recommend and train adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
  • Monitor progress and review treatment plans for outcomes.
  • Educate clients, caregivers, and family on goals and home programmes.
  • Maintain clinical documentation and reports in line with regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and others for coordinated care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality initiatives.
  • Comply with practice standards, infection control, and safety policies.
  • Contribute to service development and programme improvement.
  • Provide supervision/mentorship to therapy assistants, students, or junior staff.

Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5.30pm
Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' functional, cognitive, psychosocial, and physical abilities through appropriate evaluation tools and clinical observations.
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), mobility, cognition, and community participation.
  • Recommend, prescribe, and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications where appropriate.
  • Monitor clients' progress and review treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Educate clients, caregivers, and family members on therapy goals, home programmes, and strategies to support functional independence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, reports, and records in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care delivery.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Comply with professional practice standards, infection control protocols, workplace safety requirements, and organisational policies.
  • Contribute to service development, programme implementation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, or guidance to therapy assistants, students, or junior staff where applicable.
Key Requirements:
  • Min. Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full Registration or eligible for registration with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for community care, rehabilitation, and improving clients' quality of life.
