Job summary

Lentor Health Nursing Home (Macpherson) in Singapore is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to support the Operations Manager with maintenance, repairs, and procurement for the group of companies.

The role covers troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, routine inspections, on-site supervision of contractors, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements. Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of relevant M&E experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Good practical knowledge in building maintenance with initiative and analytical skills.
• Good teamwork, interpersonal qualities, self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• Willing to be on 24 hours standby for emergency works.
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting faults related to mechanical and electrical equipment, infrastructure, engineering, building, etc.
• Attend to breakdowns and feedback
• Assist in handling installation, repair, rectification, and replacement work
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance work
• Assist in procurement of supplies and parts
• Work with Nursing Department on their procurement needs and stock supplies
• Assist in managing inventory control of company assets, equipment, instrument, and tools
• Assist in ensuring quality standards of all services and systems, comply with the statutory requirements
• Perform general housekeeping activities
• Liaise with vendors / contractors and supervise their work on site
