Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead the nursing team in specialist outpatient clinics. The role focuses on delivering safe, patient-centred care with strong clinical standards and smooth day-to-day clinic operations during office hours.

You will manage clinical quality, staff development and collaboration with doctors and administrative teams to enhance patient experience and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of nursing experience with supervisory or charge nurse exposure.
• Outpatient, ambulatory or medical-surgical background; advanced nursing qualifications are a plus.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people management abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Sound judgement in handling escalations and patient feedback and familiarity with audits and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop the nursing team across specialist outpatient clinics.
• Oversee daily clinic operations, patient flow and manpower deployment to meet service demands.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, infection control and patient safety requirements.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor key clinical and service indicators.
• Manage incident reporting, investigation and service recovery with relevant stakeholders.
• Plan rosters, manage leave and ensure appropriate skill mix for each clinic session.
• Mentor and appraise nurses and identify training needs.
• Collaborate with doctors, allied health, operations and admin teams to improve patient experience.
• Support budget planning and efficient use of manpower, consumables and equipment.
• Contribute to policy updates, audits and accreditation readiness.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, supervise and develop the nursing team across the specialist outpatient clinics
• Oversee daily clinic operations, patient flow and manpower deployment to meet service demands

What You'll Bring

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing and above, with valid Singapore Nursing Board registration
• At least 8 years of nursing experience, including supervisory or charge nurse experience
• Outpatient, ambulatory, ward or medical-surgical background; advanced nursing qualifications are an advantage
• Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills
• Sound judgement in handling escalations and patient feedback

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospital information systems
