Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a senior nursing leader to oversee the quality and safety of resident care, ensuring MOH compliance across all wards and units in our Singapore facility.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, design and review care plans, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement through audits and policy development. Experience in community care is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Has Advanced Diploma in Nursing with registration from the relevant authority.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including a managerial role.
• Prior experience in community care is an advantage.
• Additional certifications in gerontology, palliative care, or leadership training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing standards and ensure quality and safe delivery of resident care in compliance with MOH and internal guidelines.
• Supervise assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for residents.
• Review residents’ care plans and participate in case conferences and care audits.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of clinical records.
• Lead and supervise a team of nurses, healthcare assistants, and support staff.
• Plan duty rosters and manage manpower to ensure adequate staffing.
• Provide guidance, training, and coaching to nursing staff to enhance clinical competencies.
• Conduct performance appraisals and facilitate continuous learning and development.
• Manage daily operations of the nursing home ward or unit.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, medication management, and safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
• Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and manage supplies, equipment, and ward inventory.
• Assist in budgeting and resource planning.
