Role Summary

The Senior / Nurse Manager will work closely with the Head of Nursing to develop and implement operational, tactical and strategic plans. This role leads quality-of-care initiatives together with the nursing team and other interdisciplinary stakeholders (doctors, clients, families, and external professionals), and plays a key part in shaping a new, personalised care model for elderly residents, including a "Green House" concept designed to better meet residents' individual needs. The role also acts as a bridge between clinical nurse managers, educators, and senior management to support the organisation's broader development goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Support organisational development projects and cascade the company's vision, mission and values to the nursing team
• Contribute to developing a personalised, signature care experience for residents
• Build a learning and development culture that nurtures future nursing leaders
• Monitor KPIs and ensure effective use of budget and resources

Clinical Governance & Quality

• Develop and review policies, SOPs, clinical governance frameworks and emergency preparedness plans
• Maintain audit surveillance of clinical standards and support MOH licensing compliance
• Drive clinical quality improvement initiatives

Capability Development

• Lead recruitment, development and retention of nursing staff
• Partner with educational institutions and internal stakeholders on training initiatives
• Support onboarding and induction of new staff

Operations

• Conduct client rounds and maintain strong client relationships
• Evaluate nursing care quality, documentation and clinical practices
• Promote Workplace Safety & Health and infection control standards across the team
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Standards, Enhanced Nursing Home Standards and related guidelines

Requirements

• Prior experience in a nursing leadership/managerial role, ideally within aged care, home care, or nursing home settings
• Good understanding of Singapore's Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) landscape and local healthcare priorities
• Strong knowledge of infection control, clinical governance and quality audit frameworks
• Genuine passion for elderly care and developing new care models
