Job summary

National Heritage Board in Singapore seeks a data-focused professional to design and govern NS data strategies, aligning data assets with policy reviews and decision-making.

You will build NS data repositories, enforce governance, and ensure data quality for dashboards and insights, while engaging stakeholders across MINDEF/SAF NS domains.

This role offers growth as you translate complex requirements into technical solutions and contribute to policy sense-making.

Qualifications

• Education in a quantitative field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in data architecture, data management, or governance.
• Experience with HR enterprise systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with data architecture, data management and data governance frameworks and practices.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
• Good communication and presentation skills; strong project and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement the NS-related data repository.
• Establish and enforce robust data management and governance practices.
• Define and uphold standard data definitions and taxonomies.
• Ensure high-quality data is ready for dashboards, insights and decision-making to enable reporting.
• Manage data pipelines and connections needed for data analytics and queries, transactions and future AI models.
• Navigate large volume of datasets across NS systems with diverse idiosyncrasies.
• Develop understanding of MINDEF/SAF NS domain, policies and processes.
• Maintain a broad strategic perspective while drilling down into key data details.
